A Thank You Letter to Kesha and The Dubuque County Fair

I had the chance to see Kesha perform at the Dubuque County Fair and the party was lit. I have been wanting to see her for years before the lawsuit became a miserable situation. The concert she put on was definitely one to remember. I have been to numerous shows before, and despite it being at a fair in Iowa, the concert was mind blowing. The whole concert was a reminder to all why she deserves to be performing and making music. These are my top reasons as to why I love Kesha more than ever.

Makes "Tik Tok" Feel Like It was Released Yesterday.

 Kesha had played a powerful set list including all of her hits from “Tik Tok” to “Die Young” and even some hidden jams like “Gold Trans Am” and “Dirty Love”. The set list even included “True Colors” which I was beyond happy to hear. Kesha made it seem like all these songs were released last week because the energy she had on stage performing them led to an unstoppable party. Kesha also had a great production for the concert as well for being at a fair. The screen played amazing visuals and her two back up dancers kept everyone wanting more. Inflatable Sharks, rainbows, confetti, glitter, selfies, swimming pools, beer, and whipped cream were all things that were involved as well as many other things. Let’s just say that Kesha can truly put on one heck of party with true talent, which I’m real envious of.  

She Gives Zero Fu*ks

Kesha provides such a care-free vibe to her concert that made everyone else loosen up as well. The vibe exuded happiness and pure joy which had everyone loving every moment. Kesha is true to herself which I think is something that everyone can strive for.

Looks Flawless

Kesha also looked ahhhmazing on stage. Like I knew Kesha was beautiful and talented, but her body looked gorgeous. I was happy to see her look amazing, especially after dealing with the lawsuit situation because I know that that can be stressful. Overall, I was happy to see Kesha looking better than ever.

Is Genuine and Passionate

Kesha can not only throw an amazing party, but she has more to her than just that. Kesha is extremely passionate towards the LGBT community and equal rights for all. Kesha talked a little about how much she supports that during the concert. Kesha also had plenty of rainbows and flags that truly set that tone too. You can tell how passionate she is when she performs which is amazing. Kesha’s passion toward her show, music, and fans is heartwarming to witness.

Overall, Kesha is one performer we all need in our lives for these reasons and more. A huge thank you to Kesha for continuing to push through the struggles to perform for her fans; we can’t thank you enough. I wish I could have the strength you have for making it through it all. Another huge thanks for the backup dancers for an unforgettable show and for the Dubuque County Fair for hosting such an amazing event.
