Broken Legs and Burns.
The past few days have seen some stage accidents from a couple of different artists. A lot of people can forget that performing can have some risk to it, and that these accidents can, and do happen. Luckily, the two guys below are both doing well despite the accidents.
Dave was performing at Ullevi Stadium on June 12th in Sweden with the Foo Fighters when the show took a turn for the worst. Dave reportedly fell down during the show and claimed to have broke his leg. Now one would think that with such a nasty spill that the show would have to end immediately, but not for Dave. Dave, with the help of on-site medical staff, was patched up temporarily in order to finish the rest of the show. Granted, Dave was sitting the rest of the show, but he finished the show!! I respect Dave 100 percent for finishing the show even though he is probably in pain. It was confirmed that his injury included a fracture and he just had to cancel 2 upcoming shows due to the injury. Luckily, Dave appears to be in recovery condition and I wish him a speedy recovery! The video below shows the concert and Dave after the accident.
5 Seconds of Summer was performing in London on Saturday, June 13th, when a terrible accident occurred. Michael Clifford, one of the band members, got caught up in a pyrotechnic mishap. Michael got, what it look likes to be a burn, on stage. The show had to end early that night due to the incident. The video below shows the incident, and you can see Michael run off stage while smoke comes off of him. The video is hard to watch, but I'm glad Michael is doing well. Later on after the incident, Michael Instagramed a photo of how he was doing. The photo shows his face bandaged up and you can tell his face is swollen as well. Despite the bandages, Michael does try to bring some humor to the situation by stating "...but at least I look like two face". Let's all wish Michael and Dave a speedy recovery!
