Child of the Moon
Kesha teased us with a now deleted Instagram post that had the title "Child of the Moon". The Instagram post also had the caption "new song? hmmm." Kesha talked to Ryan Seacrest yesterday about her upcoming music and events. Kesha told Ryan "I have a couple surprises coming up, but I can’t tell you. I’m writing about boys, and heartbreak, and love, and the good times, the bad times, the hard times — all of it." Kesha didn't give any hints on these surprises, but I definitely can't wait for them.
Suing Sony and LA Pride
In October, we heard about Kesha suing her producer Dr. Luke for physically and verbally assaulting her while the two worked together. Kesha claims that Dr. Luke made her snort unknown drugs, verbally insulted her appearance, and even "forced himself" on her. Although Dr. Luke has made a countersuit, Kesha just had the suit include Sony Music as well. Kesha claims that Sony Music was in such a desperate search for pop sensations that they put a substantial investment in Dr. Luke and was willfully ignorant to what Dr. Luke was actually doing. Kesha also made the point that Sony Music was then turning its back of the "physical danger" Dr. Luke was putting on women; especially herself. Despite the lawsuits, Kesha is making music that is making her happy once again, and it will be interesting to see how the music will be released since she is suing her current label company. Kesha also will be performing at LA Pride today! Fingers crossed, she teases her new music or gives us some indication on when we can expect it. I'm glad Kesha is happy again and
I just can't wait to have new Kesha music on my playlist.
