6. Demi and Iggys Friendship


Demi Lovato rocked her single "Cool for the Summer" on the VMA stage with plenty of umbrellas, bright colors, and speedos. The performance was exactly what I was hoping for from Demi; full of life. Demi then was joined on stage with Iggy Azalea! The song featured some sort of remix, but nothing substantial because the remix wasn't released at all. I was still happy to see these two share the stage together because heck, after all, Demi is going to be one of Iggys bridesmaids! Also, Demi rode over the crowd on a trampoline. What.

5.Tori Kelly and her Vocals. My Gawd.


Tori Kelly has definitely proven herself over the past few years and seeing her have so much success makes me proud. She performed on the VMA stage but her videos aren't the focus, it's her voice! Tori has some major pipes and was one of the most solid vocal performances of the night. She ended it acapella too. Just watch.

4.Miley's outfits, or lack there of


Miley Cyrus of course hosted this years VMAs and nobody knew exactly what she had in mind as a host. We all had an idea that clothing was optional for her, but what was she going to pull off at the VMAs? We got 10, yes 10, outfits from the host herself. Miley didn't disappoint us with her wardrobe choices and it had everyone wondering what she was going to come out wearing next, or not wearing. I thought Miley did a good job as a host by keeping everyone talking and she had a ton of energy too, which was setting good vibes for everyone watching! Which outfit was your favorite?

3.Justin Biebers return to the Stage


Justin Bieber returned to the stage for an emotional performance that included both "Where Are U Now" and his newest single "What Do You Mean?". Justin nailed the choreography and sounded really good as well! You could tell Justin is back on the right path and doing what he loves. Justin even broke down and started crying at the end of the performance which shows you how much it meant for him to be back. Watch the performance below!

2."Miley, What's Good?"


So, there was some shade thrown on stage last night between Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus. Nicki called out Miley for some stuff she said during a recent interview about the feud between Nicki and Taylor Swift. Nicki totally called her out and completely put her on the spot. We were all wondering just WHAT was going on at this point. Was this planned or not? The situation made it seemed like it wasn't planned at all, but it sure started like wildfire on the internet. "Miley, what's good?" became the next big thing. Miley handle the situation perfect though saying how the media manipulates the truth and then congratulated Nicki on her VMA award. I don't think this "beef" really shows their relationship though. I think it was more of a comedic act rather than actually shade being thrown. What did you think of the awkward moment?

1.Nicki's Headdress, and much, much more.


Nicki Minaj opened the show and it was right after Taylor Swifts "Wildest Dreams" video premiered, which is a whole story itself. While I was still recovering from that, Nicki appeared on stage with a massive red headdress that looked stunning on her. Nicki performed "Trini Dem Girls" and I was fangirling hard because I saw her live earlier in August and still wasn't over that. Nicki also went into "The Night is Still Young" and by this time I was sweating. Nicki was then joined on stage with Taylor Swift! I literally fell off of my chair. The moment they shared while singing this song together stomped all the feud rumors, if there were any left. Taylor then sang a little "Bad Blood"and that alone killed me. I was hoping for a remix of some sort but still, it was awesome.
