Meghan Trainor Breaks Down

Meghan Trainor  hits the emotional switch with her new music video for her latest single "Better" ft Yo Gotti. Meghan has been having a huge success with her album Thank You, and the Untouchable Tour, and she isn't done quite yet with it. Meghan had announced that her third single off of the album would be "Better", which made me happy to see her promote a song that wasn't too pop heavy. I had loved "Better" when I had first listened to the album because it offers a softer, and slightly darker sound than we are used to hearing from Meghan.

The music video definitely followed along those lines as well. The emotional and raw music video adds a layer to Meghan Trainor that we simply haven't quite seen yet. There aren't any bright colors, or choreography, but rather a story. A story that truly everyone can relate to which is nice to see from the usual bright, fun pop star.
